Gaels lock playoff spot

The women’s hockey team won perhaps their most methodical win of the season on Saturday. Challenged by a desperate Windsor Lancers team, who sit eighth in the OUA, the second-place Gaels rode every punch for a convincing 3-0 win at the Memorial Centre.

Queen’s tops first-place Mustangs

The men’s volleyball team closed out their home regular season schedule with authority last weekend, beating the OUA-leading Western Mustangs 3-1 on Friday before a straight-sets victory over the fourth-place Windsor Lancers on Saturday.

Track claims podium at York

The track and field team was in Toronto for the York Open this weekend and returned with 10 medals, three of which were gold.

Women’s volleyball perfect at home

The women’s volleyball team had a strong weekend at the ARC, vaulting themselves into second place in the OUA East standings with one game left in the season. The Gaels beat the Western Mustangs on Friday before downing the Windsor Lancers on Saturday. Both matches were decided in straight sets.
