We polled Queen’s students on their favourite locations around Kingston, from preferred coffee shops to campus’ finest bathrooms.
Most students know Queen Victoria, who established ‘Queen’s College in Kingston’ via the Royal Charter in 1841, as the ‘Queen’ of Queen’s.
For some students, summer is a time to kick back and soak up the sun, but for many it’s also a chance to catch up on academics or even get ahead.

Running towards recovery

I started running as a requirement for my 10th grade Phys-Ed class.
Since it’s summer job application season, many students are wondering whether to head home for the break or stay in Kingston.
On Mar. 8, people all over the world will celebrate International Women’s Day for its 108th year.
I consider myself extremely lucky because prior to celebrating my 20th birthday, I’d already beaten cancer not once, but twice. 
For three and a half years, I’ve watched my little brother miss out on high school friendships, relationships, and work opportunities, all due to a crippling and life-threatening illness.
When walking down University Ave or grabbing a snack at the ARC, it’s easy to pass someone who catches your eye.
Reading Week is fast approaching, which means most students are caught wondering how to make the most of their well-deserved break.
