Journal photographers Harrison Smith and Joshua Chan covered the fortunes of Queen’s football, rugby and soccer this fall. It was a season filled with both glory and despair for the Gaels as some teams achieved more than they expected while others fell short of their goals. Men’s rugby finished second in Ontario and men’s soccer won bronze medals, but football, women’s rugby, and women’s soccer all made early exits in the playoffs.

One positive aspect for many Gaels’ teams was the support they received from their passionate fans. Here we look back at some of our favorite photos.
