V-Day: the vaginas are coming

  • Arts

The Vagina Monologues makes its annual return to campus with shows at Grant Hall on Monday and Tuesday at 6 p.m. The production will be one of many taking place around the world for V-Day, a celebration of vaginas and Valentines with the intention of using love and respect for the female body to combat violence against women. The collection of monologues focus on experiences women have had with their vaginas, based on real-life interviews author Eve Ensler conducted with women all over the world.

Photographer Lindsay Duncan captured a preview of the show at a dress rehearsal last night. Tickets for The Vagina Monologues can be purchased at Destinations for $13.
