7 p.m. Red Hat volunteers arrived on Aberdeen Street in preparation for the night’s festivities.

10 p.m. Despite a heavy mist, people began to flock to the street.

10:45 p.m. A girl passed out in the street at the north end of Aberdeen—where most of the party was concentrated—and had to be taken away on a stretcher.

11:45 a.m. Student cover band Dengar Roth start playing at 30 Aberdeen St. Police asked them to stop playing after six songs.

12:15 a.m. Three students outside a Sci ’44 Co-op on William Street set off roman candles in the street. One student was handcuffed and ticketed. Shortly afterward, screaming fireworks were set off on Aberdeen Street at William.

12:30 a.m. Students were sprayed by broken glass after cheers of “Chug, chug, chug,” culminated in bottles being smashed on the street. Unofficial estimates put the Aberdeen Street crowd between 6,000 and 7,000 people.

1 a.m. Students go to the First Aid tent after being sprayed by what they believe was pepper spray. Members of Queen’s First Aid flushed their eyes with water.

1:47 a.m. The crowd began thinning out, leaving enough room for four men to run through the street in nothing but their underwear.

2 a.m. Paramedics say they’ve treated 35 people over the course of the night. They haven’t sent anyone to the hospital. St. John Ambulance estimate it has seen between 22 and 24 people; 11 people were sprayed with what was allegedly pepper spray.

2:46 a.m. Police began dispersing the crowd and clearing the street. Red Hat volunteers began clearing the street of garbage and broken glass.
