After being closed since the beginning of the 2016-17 academic year, Queen’s Physical Plant Services (PPS) has revealed a newly renovated “white room” in Theological Hall.
On Oct. 17, PPS tweeted photos of the newly renovated “white room” in Theological Hall, citing Room 302 as a “multipurpose space” for exam and study purposes.
PPS said in an Instagram post on Oct. 18 that they “added new furniture and a fresh, bright coat of paint to update this sunny room in Theological Hall. The desktop privacy screens can be removed when not in use, giving this space many functions.”
The room’s redesign was done by local Kingston designer and entrepreneur Lindsay Down, who’s also worked with Queen’s in designs for the university’s new push towards “active learning” classrooms that feature open and transformable spaces.
