Sagittarius season brings strong friendship and spontaneous inspiration

An astrological wheel.

As Mars continues to transit Aquarius, chaotic energy abounds. The good news is we’re now in Sagittarius season, granting cosmic gifts of stronger friendships and free-flowing inspiration.

The subject for that final paper you’ve been sweating over will come to you overnight, and it’s a good time to be more honest in your close relationships. You’ll have love and support even in the most difficult of situations.

Embracing those positive vibes, here’s what might be in the cards for you based on the sun placement relative to Kingston and your birthdate.

ARIES (Mar. 21—Apr. 19)

Most of the people around you are well-intentioned. You have a tendency to view others as competition, even lovers and close friends. Ditch that mentality for this sweet, harmonious season. If you can’t trust the words of others, look for the truth yourself by keeping a keen eye on your daily interactions.

TAURUS (Apr. 20—May 20)

Now that you've seen how your previous actions led you here, it’s time to put all your energy into increasing your quality of life. Don’t be passive, even in the slightest—resist the impulse to stagnate. Buy yourself the gift you’ve always wanted and raise your spirits.

GEMINI (May 21—Jun. 21)

Try to be more forgiving when someone offends your sensitive nature. This is a time to be grateful for the love of family and friends. Some cosmic forces might cause you to think your issues are unresolvable, but reading people comes naturally to you and communication is key.

CANCER (Jun. 22—Jul. 22)

If you want the reassurance of loyalty in your romantic relationships, be direct about what you’re seeking. Love isn’t a game that you can pick up and drop; it’s a journey with real consequences. If you feel yourself getting moody, stay in, make hot chocolate, and get cozy.

LEO (Jul. 23—Aug. 22)

You need to relax if you`re feeling shy and let other people pay attention to your needs. Get closer to those that make you feel comfortable. Nurture familial relationships with the generosity of the holiday season, and don’t pick fights in your time off—buy and light scented candles instead.

VIRGO (Aug. 23—Sept. 22)

Winter drags on and on, and the workload just seems to get heavier for you, eliciting fantasies of summer months and warm beaches. But you know how to get what you want and finish the job with a flourish. While navigating these ambitions, don’t forget to listen to your intuition.

LIBRA (Sept. 23—Oct. 22)

Once the first domino falls, everything seems to collapse with it. Remember this is just your inner perfectionist talking. Work and education are important to you, but now is the time to reach out to the people you love. Let go of past baggage and communicate.

SCORPIO (Oct. 24—Nov. 22)

Yes, people have been talking about you behind your back. Sometimes you seem harsh and enigmatic and it might make you rethink how you present yourself. But overcoming misunderstandings is what this month is all about. Get on it.

SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 23—Dec. 20)

Since it’s your season, you might be expecting a month-long party. Sometimes the best rewards aren’t fun, at least on the surface. You might find yourself wondering about a person you cared about in the past or dealing with overdue karma. Remember and learn.

CAPRICORN (Dec. 21—Jan. 19)

Venus is dominating your mental processes this winter as a special someone consumes your thoughts. When you lapse into moments of self-doubt and vulnerability, be kind to yourself and rely on friends that treasure you. It’s better to admit weakness to them than to seem distant or cold.

AQUARIUS (Jan. 20—Feb. 19)

You’re still dealing with Mars’ chaotic energy, so it’s important you to harness it and achieve your lofty goals. Don’t carry anger from past failures to your death bed. Try to work cooperatively with others and you’ll reach new heights together.

PISCES (Feb. 20—Mar. 20)

Don’t make any grand promises this month, because you probably won’t have the time to fulfil them. You might have days where nothing feels right, like you’re lonely in a crowd. Establish a solid daily routine to combat any sense of not belonging.
