Military searches for missing Private in University District

Increased military presence around Kingston, University District

Private Michal Beaman, missing since Friday.

The Kingston Military Police is requesting the public’s assistance to locate Private Michal Beaman, missing since Friday, according to a Monday press release.

Canadian Forces Base Kingston reported that Beaman was last seen at The Spot nightclub on Friday shortly before midnight. He is a white male, 5’5” tall, with brown hair and eyes.

He was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, blue jeans, a black jacket, and red shoes.

“He has not been heard from in two days and we are concerned for his safety,” the press release read. “The public can expect to see an increased military presence across the Base and in the city of Kingston while military search teams look for Michal.”

On Monday afternoon, Queen’s students in the University District reported seeing military personnel going door to door.

If anyone has any information about Private Beaman, they are asked to contact the CFB Kingston Military Police at 613-541-5010, ext. 2044.
