The Queen’s community is mourning the loss of one of its own, Sarah Colby-Dobell, a fourth-year biology student.

Colby-Dobell passed away on Aug. 3. She’s survived by her twin sister, Erin Colby-Dobell, who recently completed her fourth year in Engineering at Queen's.

Deeply involved in numerous extracurricular clubs at Queen’s, Colby-Dobell served as secretary for Conservation Queen’s, which aims to bring awareness to endangered species and conservation efforts around the Kingston community.

She was also a fashion designer for the Vogue Fashion Charity Show, Canada’s largest student-run fashion show, and volunteered at the Queen’s Food Bank during each of her four years in Kingston.
