Break and Entry

A student’s home on Johnson street close to campus was broken into in the early morning of Sept. 6. An attempted break-in near campus was also reported the same morning.

Suspicious Person

That night a student also reported a man who appeared to be masturbating in the bushes on Union Street, near St. Mary’s hospital. She described him as “a Caucasian male wearing a ball cap and shiny dark coloured sport shorts.”

Assault

Campus Security received a call on Sept. 5 from a individual reporting he was assaulted by a man who threw an object identified as a piece of particle board with a piece of metal sticking out of it. The individual was not seriously injured but reported the attack because it was unprovoked and he believed the attacker to be a Queen’s student.

Theft at Watts Hall

On Sept. 4 Campus Security scared off a group of individuals outside Watts hall who were wheeling carts carrying a leather couch and a wooden dresser believed to belong to Watts Hall. The furniture was returned and Residence staff informed of the attempted theft.

Theft at Ban Righ

Three males stole uniforms and dinner plates from the kitchen area of Ban Righ cafeteria on Sept. 2. The two were tracked down by security and questioned. They revealed the location of the stashed plates and the stolen uniform was later discovered by a student in his recycling bin.

Theft at Dupuis Hall

A ceiling projector was stolen from Dupuis Hall on September 1st. Security was alerted by alarms within the building but no suspect could be located.
