Women’s rugby bests McMaster

The women’s rugby team continued its tremendous start to the season against McMaster on Saturday, drubbing the visiting Marauders 100-0.
The men’s rugby team kicked off the 2019 season with a commanding 89-5 win over the University of Toronto on Sept. 7.
The women’s rugby team started their season on Monday with a monumental 135-0 victory over Western, the most points scored in one game in team history. The win has lifted the Gaels up three spots in the national rankings to the number five seed.
Concussions are a frightening prospect for athletes whose performance depends on hurtling full-speed at their opponents. Emma Crivello, a flanker for the Queen’s rugby team, knows them all too well.
