The Journal attended the AMS executive candidate debate on Jan. 23 where candidates running de-slated presented their goals, promises, and campaign strategies. During the event, they fielded questions from students and engaged in a lively debate with each other.

Presidential candidates include Jana Amer, HealthSci ’26, and Nicolas David Brasset Duque, ArtSci ’25. Vice-President (University Affairs) candidates include Alyssa Perisa, ArtSci ’25, and Dreyden George, ArtSci ’26. The Vice-President (Operations) sole candidate is Elena Nurzynski, ArtSci ’25.
