‘Daylight Savings Tour’ set to burn bright
You don’t have to look too far from campus to find some great musicians from out of town.
Whether you’re looking for folk, country, Americana or blues, it’s time to put on your boots and make your way down to The Grad Club on Nov. 16. Ottawa band School House, Montreal’s Clay Hazey, and Toronto’s Jade Hilton are playing in Kingston for one night only, providing a little something for everyone.

Kasador to play The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts
The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts’ “Friday Nights in the Recital Hall” series is back with a long-awaited favourite. After the series’ success with other Kingston bands like Tiny Horse, beloved band Kasador will play on Nov. 22 in the Principal Emerita Karen Hitchcock Recital Hall.

Wrapping up their most recent tour on Nov. 9 with a sold-out show in St. Catherines, Ont. and their song “R.I.P. Me Down” hitting 200,000 Spotify streams last week, the band’s keeping the momentum going. Known for their tight, dynamic, and thoughtful performances, take the chance to see Kasador in an intimate setting before the cold sets in.

Queen’s Players: Fall 2024 shows have arrived
After the success of their Nov. 14 show in collaboration with Vogue Charity Fashion Show (VCFS), Queen’s Players are set to present their Fall 2024 Show from Nov. 13 to 16, and Nov. 20 to 23 at The Mansion.
The oldest running club at Queen’s, all proceeds from Queen’s Players’ shows are going to charity. In 2023, the club donated approximately $20,000 to charities like the Indian Residential School Survivor Society, AMS Food Bank, Martha’s Table, and many others.
If you’re looking for a fun night out with friends filled with raunchy humour, impressive vocals and comedy gold, Queen’s Players is right up your alley.
Art Show for charity set for the Tett
Christmas is in the air, and so are gifts and donations. Queen’s Project on International Development is set to host their charity art show Nov. 16 at The Tett Centre for Creativity and Learning.
With tickets available for purchase at the doors, it’s an opportunity to enjoy refreshments, view art from local artists, and support a local charity in Kingston.
For only $5 per ticket, and $3 with valid student ID, it’s a steal. With pieces on display created by Queen’s artists, all proceeds from the event go to Partners in Mission Food Bank as an initiative to build awareness in local and global development issues.
It’s sure to be an evening of art, fun, and support for all.
