Bader College will be closing for the rest of the year after the discovery of several damages at Herstmonceux Castle.
On Nov. 13, Queen’s University announced Bader College will cease operations after the University learned about several structural issues at Herstmonceux Castle requiring immediate attention, including repairs to the roof.
At the same time, the University suspended recruitment and admissions for the 2024-25 academic year. The University plans for current Bader students to continue their semester online in Canada and is facilitating flights home for students starting next week, according to an email obtained by The Journal.
This is a developing story and will be updated with more information.

Breaking news?
This news was posted on the Queen’s Gazette yesterday, Nov 13, with more follow up by the Kingstonist on that same day. You’re not breaking news by posting half a story a day later.
