Fall at campus bookstore sends university employee to hospital

At approximately 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, a university employee suffered a medical incident at the campus bookstore on 5 Field Company Ln.

In a statement to The Journal, the University wrote that the employee fell and struck their head.

“An ambulance was called and patrons were evacuated to facilitate paramedic assistance. The patient was taken to hospital for examination. No details concerning the individual are being released out of respect for their privacy.”
