
Team OJJ was elected as the Residence Society executive with 88 per cent of the vote on Thursday night.
While OJJ ran uncontested this year, the team received a turnout rate of 633 out of 4172 electors. The team won with 431 votes in favour and 49 votes against.
The team is composed of President-elect Oliver Fils, Vice-President-elect (Residential Affairs) Julia Guest, and Vice-Presidential-elect (Judicial Affairs) Julie Ro.
“We are honored to have the opportunity to keep moving the [Residence] Society forward as its next executive team,” the team wrote in a statement to The Journal. “Our sincerest thank you to all of the students who placed their trust in us—we couldn’t have done it without you.”
“We are incredibly excited for everything the coming year has in store for us, and look forward to being a voice for all students in residence.”
