The University is reporting no active cases of COVID-19 in the Queen’s community as of Thursday evening.
Though Queen’s identified one new case of the virus in residence last week, it has since marked the case as resolved. There have been a total of 88 cases reported through the University’s case tracker since Aug. 31.

Students looking to get tested for COVID-19 can book an appointment at Queen’s Satellite COVID-19 Assessment Centre in Mitchell Hall through Student Wellness Services (SWS).
SWS is now offering voluntary, asymptomatic testing for students after Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox and Addington (KFL&A) Public Health confirmed the first case of the B.1.1.7. case of COVID-19 in the region. The variant is a new, more easily transmissible version of the virus discovered in the United Kingdom.
Appointments can be booked Monday to Friday.
KFL&A Public Health is reporting 19 active cases in the region. There have been 667 cases in the region since the pandemic’s outbreak and one death.
