Campus Security and Emergency Services reported two incidents in the Queen’s area this week.
The first incident occurred on Oct. 18 after 4 a.m., when a female student with a single room on the ground floor of a West Campus residence was woken up by an unidentified person reaching through the window of her room.
The individual quickly withdrew their arm when the student woke up. Campus Security was notified and security staff immediately searched the area. The suspect was not found.
In a release about the incident, Campus Security advised students living in ground floor rooms to ensure that their windows are closed and locked at night.
The second incident, occurring shortly after midnight on Oct. 21, was initially reported to Campus Security by Walkhome.
Two women, both on separate occasions, were approached by an unidentified male in what they described as a silver hatchback Volvo, and were told to get into his car.
The reported incidents occurred at the intersections of Johnson and Alfred Streets and Johnson St. and University Ave. Security staff searched the University District for the vehicle, but were unsuccessful in locating the unidentified man, according to a Campus Security release.
Walkhome declined to comment on the incident.
