The new Concurrent Education Student Association (CESA) executive team has been elected.
After running uncontested, President-elect Neha Rawal, Vice-President (Internal) elect Erica He, and Vice-President (External) elect Molly Fast, all ConEd ’27, have been voted in. The team received 223 votes in favour, two against, and 26 abstentions. Overall, 99.1 per cent of voters gave the team a vote of confidence.
The team, whose platform focused on connection within the ConEd community, was thankful to those who voted for them.
In a statement to The Journal, team MENu expressed gratitude for the confidence of their society, adding that they’re “so grateful for the opportunity to be your CESA executive team. Thank you for placing your confidence in us and trusting us to represent the Concurrent Education community.”
“As we begin this new chapter, we’re thrilled to work alongside one another and with all ConEd students, guided by our pillars of positivity, reliability, and teamwork. These values will shape how we lead and how we support our community throughout the year. We’re eager to get started and to work together to make this a positive and impactful year for CESA,” the statement read.
Outgoing CESA President Emily Gluckman, ConEd ’26, provided a statement to The Journal, congratulating the newly elected team, speaking directly to team MENu when stating that the outgoing executive team “can’t wait to see you shine in your new roles and cheer you on next year. You have such an exciting year ahead; we’re so happy for you and cannot wait to see all you accomplish.”
Elected as Executive Administrator was Elizabeth Boye, ConEd ’28, with Tami Sakariyas-DE, ConEd ’29, voted in as the representative to the AMS. Also elected were the Year Representatives, with Ewelina Sokolski and Hannah Vermeil, both ConEd ’29, voted as second year representatives, Gabby Tewsley and Holly Goulding, ConEd ’28, voted as third year representatives, and Clara Amoroso and Danielle Hopkins, ConEd ’27, voted as fourth year representatives.
The executive team will begin to lead in the 2026-27 academic year, starting May 1.
