MacIntyre ran uncontested for position last year.

Undergraduate Trustee Tyler MacIntyre resigned from the remainder of his two-year term effective June 1, 2020, on Jan. 13, due to the completion of his undergraduate degree. An election to appoint the new undergraduate trustee will be held in March.

“Serving as trustee has been far and away the most enjoyable, educational, and meaningful experience of my time at Queen’s,” MacIntyre said in an AMS press release.

MacIntyre ran uncontested last January, and was elected undergraduate trustee with an 89.2 per cent vote of confidence.

“Happily, I am confident that there will be a student ready to step up to the responsibility of completing my term as trustee who will perform at least as well as I have in the role,” MacIntyre said.

According to the press release, the AMS will hold an election to appoint the new undergraduate trustee pending Assembly approval. An information night will be held on March 2.
