This weekend’s Quigley Cup loss shouldn’t dampen Women’s Volleyball’s incredible playoff run.

Women’s Volleyball did it again: another playoff sweep. 

This past Saturday, the Gaels men’s volleyball team faced off against the York Lions for the first round of OUA playoffs. They were defeated in four sets.

This weekend, Western learned they can’t count Queen’s out.

This weekend, the Queen’s Men’s Volleyball team faced off against the Brock Badgers in St. Catharines where they lost both games of their double header.

The Gaels faced off against the Western Mustangs twice this weekend, emerging victorious both times.

After a splitting two weekend games against Western, Queen’s record now sits at 11-5, ranking 10th in the U SPORTS Top 10 Women’s Volleyball ranking.

Queen’s Men’s Volleyball faced off against the Nipissing Lakers this weekend in a doubleheader at the ARC.

The Nipissing Lakers travelled down to Kingston last weekend for two games against Queen’s Women’s Volleyball, both of which ended in exhilarating wins for the Gaels.

Don’t count out the Gaels—even down 2-0. 

This weekend marked a high point for the Queen’s women’s volleyball team as they won back-to-back games on home court against the Windsor Lancers.

After some exhibition games and invitational tournaments prior to the official OUA season, both the men’s and women’s volleyball teams recorded valuable wins before the break.

The Queen’s Gaels faced off against the RMC Paladins on Saturday at the ARC, with the Gaels emerging victorious after three sets.
