With over 674 million views on YouTube and a number two spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart,
it seems that “Gangnam Style” might be bringing in a new type of pop music.
While some bands may become increasingly frustrated if they’re defined by their greatest hit, Men Without Hats is just the opposite.
Watch your step — there’s artwork on the floor.
Bring a hardhat to the Mansion for Current Swell’s gig — it might be useful.
You’re served more than you expect when watching Counter Service.
Sometimes, playing music is an addiction.
Clothes aren’t the only thing lacking in the Burlesque-centered musical Gypsy.
By now you’ve probably spotted the evidence of Movember on Queen’s campus, as a plethora of mustaches have begun to sprout. Even though Movember raises funds to fight prostate cancer, it’s a lot more difficult to find information about the prostate gland than it is to find a mustache.
The prostate is a gland of the male reproductive system that excretes fluids during ejaculation. Usually no larger than a walnut, the prostate surrounds the urethra just below the bladder, and contains muscles that help to expel the ejaculate.

I am a religious pinner and come across pin-worthy photos on a daily basis. I’m always looking for ways to get creative in the kitchen; cooking and baking create great birthday gifts and function as a perfect study break. Here are a few gems I’ve come across in my pinning escapades that are too easy to pass up. Enjoy!

I’m critical of technology as it impairs our focus and distracts us from getting important things done. Because of this, I use it very particularly. For example, I only keep one tab open when web browsing, and in class I only take notes on paper, not electronically. Although I believe there’s a lot of value in doing this, there’s an obvious yet important point to consider: when used properly, technology enhances nearly everything we do. We should depend on it to help us, but not to control us.

Meet the beanie. Last September, Stephen Jones’ veiled beanies for Jil Sander started cropping up all over the streets on the heads of models and fashion insiders. What makes these hats so coveted is the alluring combination of retro-mystique veils and modern day slouchy beanies. However at a steep price of $500, I sought a DIY alternative.
Dear QJAdvice: The holidays are coming up and I’m at a loss for what to get my girlfriend. Her and I have very different budgets (she likes to spend $100+ on a present, while I have a much smaller budget.) I tried to suggest that we establish a price limit but she was against it. I’m worried that my gift won’t be good enough. Lawrence F.

The current fashion climate celebrates individuality and personal style.
This year’s Sci Formal brought the glitz and glamour, living up to its reputation as one of Queens’ most sought after events.
With Las Vegas-themed decorations, a chocolate fountain, an assortment of live music and hundreds of glamorously adorned students, it’s clear why the formal is considered one of the top 10 formal events in North America.
This event, which has been ongoing since 1903, is open mostly to those in their final years of undergraduate studies in the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Sciences.

Tomorrow, the citizens of the US will vote to elect their president. Most predictions have Barack Obama winning the contest as he’s maintained his lead in the critical state of Ohio. The fight for Ohio has been exhaustive. Both campaigns have upped their spending there in recent weeks and both candidates are touring the state in hopes of inspiring undecided or unmotivated voters.

I am a self-diagnosed foodie (although let’s be honest, who isn’t these days). Cookbooks were once the place you’d look to for images of meals and desserts, however the Internet has caused them to become increasingly obsolete. Today, whether it’s on Pinterest, Tumblr, Facebook or Foodgawker, food porn abounds in social media. So what constitutes food porn?
